Wednesday snow update

The Met-Office have announced this is the worst cold snap for the UK in 20 years and as I am sure many have seen on various news sources, we're all experiencing disruption.
Southeastern railways are also running a slightly different schedule as highlighted by the Romney Marsh Times article. (Thank you to the editor for the link!)
As the Kent Weather webcam should be showing, the snow continues to fall here and radar shows falls continuing over most parts of Kent giving some areas a couple of centimeters possibly.
I Think overall the intensity is not as strong and there is hardly any convective nature to give more moderate falls although the GFS 06z hints at moderate overnight snowfall from the North-East.
As ever Kent Weather will monitor the situation. And updates will once again be provided by the Kent-Weather Twitter page

Just to add, in hindsight - Reports towards Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire etc are showing depths of 1.5FOOT of snow (47cm) and a contact to Kent Weather who lives in Reading has allowed us to publish her pictures of the snow locally to her.
