| Description: | A Deepening low pressure is set to move North-East across England overnight drawing heavy rain across the Kent region overnight tonight from France. Given the instability of the atmosphere, there is a small chance for the odd embedded thunderstorm. The Met-Office is predicting 15-25mm of rainfall with a chance of 50mm. The worst of the rain does appear to stay in the channel on recent forecast models, and is moving through quickly enough to not exceed the 25mm estimate Kent Weather admin predicts. Area's South and East of Faversham-Tenterden and Rye would be the most prone to the highest rainfall amounts tonight with low lying areas seeing localised flooding. |
