Quiet and settled

Remaining bright but mostly overcast for the majority of Kent today with sunny spells down towards the coast. A rogue light shower is possible but overall a dry day with temperatures up to 22-23°C, particularly in the sunnier spots with light winds.

Overnight the cloud will probably hang around for a time overnight so temperatures into the low teens, even turning slightly misty for a time.

Saturday looks to be a better day for sunshine - still some cloud around but decent breaks in the clouds and this is shown by the temperatures where 23, maybe even a 24°C could be reached.

More in the way of cloud cover overnight Saturday so temperatures will be around the same mark as before 13°C with the risk of some showers/light rain going into Sunday.

Risk of showers. Dry generally, warm.

Some cloud approaching from across the channel so turning more cloudy for a time. Even a chance for a light shower associated with the cloud as the afternoon continues. Temperatures 22-24°C in a slight breeze. I Still expect some sunshine to end the day.

A dry night expected tonight and cooler then last night down to 13°C.

Chance of some light showers Thursday with temperatures expecting to peak around the 21°C mark with some fairly bright spells. Towards the coast we should see some better amounts of sunny spells breaking through.

Some showers look possible Thursday night into Friday otherwise it's a warmer night with lows of 14-15°C

Mostly settled

Low to mid twenties across Kent currently but plenty of clear skies and sunshine on offer. Temperature today expecting to peak at 28°C / 82°F at best for some areas.

Overnight I'm expecting a little more cloud to roll in which will keep the overnight low temperatures from falling. Quite an uncomfortable night possibly with 16-17°C.

Tuesday is looking a slightly cooler day with a bit more in the way of cloud. Temperatures around 24-25°C but expecting (currently) some showers to move into Kent by Wednesday morning.
15-16°C overnight lows.

I say currently because of the slack low pressure over the UK and a passing cold front, there could be the chance of these turning thundery. But more details to come on that as they emerge.
